What is a chemical peel?
Chemical peels are not your average facial. This is a deep, targeted exfoliation treatment that speeds up your skin's natural cell renewal process. What would typically take your skin about 30 days to shed old, dead skin cells now happens in 5-7 days.
As magical as this sounds, it's still not a one-and-done treatment — but many clients see a noticeable difference in their hyperpigmentation, acne, and texture after just one treatment. You'll need a series of chemical peels for optimal results, along with a new skincare routine.

Chemical peel, before and after
To prepare for a chemical peel:
- Pause retinoids and other prescribed topical medications for at least 7 days
- Discontinue chemical and physical exfoliants for 3 days
- Skip waxing, threading, or depilatories for 1 week prior
- Avoid tanning or prolonged sun exposure for at least 2 weeks
- If you have a history of cold sores, let me know so I can recommend preventative care
- Share any medical changes or new prescriptions before your appointment
What to know before booking:
- Every peel is custom-built the day of your appointment. I don't offer a standard menu
- All clients start at a custom Level 1 peel, regardless of peel history. Safety first
- Everyone's skin responds to peels differently; the amount of peeling varies
- Full peeling process lasts about 7-10 days post-peel, starting around day 3
- Real change happens over 3-6 sessions, not one visit
Sometimes, it's not just a chemical peel.
What is liquid microneedling?
A needle-free alternative to traditional microneedling. This resurfacing treatment uses microscopic sea sponges (spicules) to create mechanical exfoliation, stimulating collagen and increasing product absorption. It's a great option for texture, acne, and hyperpigmentation.
Some clients do better with liquid microneedling than a chemical peel. The prep process and what to expect is the same. I'll tell you if it's the right call for your skin after I see it.
Not the right fit if:
This isn't the full list — just the most common ones. Final candidacy is always confirmed during your DM assessment.
- You've used Accutane (Isotretinoin) within the past 12 months
- You have open wounds, active infections, or compromised skin in the treatment area
- You've had Botox or dermal fillers within the past 14 days
- You've had a facial, laser treatment (including hair removal), chemical peel, microneedling, or mesotherapy within the past 21-30 days — unless approved by me
